"It is gratifying to know that those students who are in ASES are learning and growing as young people even after the dismissal bell rings."
"Our ASES program is like a large family and the staff members do an amazing job caring for and providing enrichment opportunities for our kids who would normally not get this."
"The ASES students engage in community service activities to help students develop compassion and contribute to the broader community."
"My child goes to school so he can go to ASES. They do so much fun stuff. He can't go to ASES unless he goes to school. He had perfect attendance for the first time ever!"
"The staff is awesome and do a lot of fun activities. I've had 5 grandchildren pass through and they always come up with new and exciting activities. I don't know how they do it!"
Students who participate in ASES have high levels of attendance during the school day.
Families attend special family nights about reading, math, or science, or a movie night.
After School programs operate at all 22 elementary school sites and four junior high schools and are open directly after school until 6:00 p.m. (6:03 for Jr. High) each school day.
All Elementary and Junior High schools operate a supplemental/summer program pending construction. Please check with the school for the days of operation for supplemental/summer program at each school site.
All students TK-8 enrolled at an After School program site are eligible to attend. After School program is free to all participating families. Each After school program enrolls its own students. Use the contact site number to inquire about enrollment information. You may also contact the Expanded Learning Programs office at (209) 574-1608.
