Please read the following important information regarding bell schedule changes for the new school year starting on Monday, August 8th.
You can visit MCS Bell Schedules to view all our school schedules. We also have a frequently asked questions document at MCS Schedule FAQs.

First, for elementary school students, there are only slight shifts to the start and end times. Next school year, elementary schools will start between 8:15 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. You can visit MCS Bell Schedules to see our school schedules.
For junior high students, there are no changes, and school will still start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:03 p.m.
Next, for our high school students, due to a new state law, the first period for high schools cannot start before 8:30 a.m. As a result, next school year, high school 1st period classes will start at 8:30 a.m., and, on a regular school day, 7th period will end at 3:29 p.m. On a minimum or early release day, 7th period will end at 2:17 p.m.
For our high school families, we understand the impact of these schedule changes that are required by state law. We are still working on additional logistics such as athletic schedules and timing for extracurricular activities. We will communicate more information as soon as we have it.
As always, MCS offers all our students with access to free breakfasts and lunches every school day, as well as supports and resources through before-school care and after-school programs, and more.
We understand there will be questions that come up, and we have a frequently asked questions document linked here: MCS Schedule FAQs.
We will continue to provide updates as we have them.
